Alan's Group Performances
Group Performances
In addition to making solo appearances, if interested, Alan can supply and perform with other Scottish and/or Irish pipers and drummers, and can
provide accompaniment for his or your Scottish Highland and/or Irish step dancers. Alan is also the director/member of several performing groups
specializing in the music and dance of the British Isles, Ireland, France and Germany - see below. Performances by these groups employ
both unique traditional instrumentation and colorful regional folk costumes, and can include dance perfomance and instruction. In addition, Alan
is also a member of The West Coast Galician (Spanish) Gaita (bagpipe) Band and Dancers. Alan can also produce and/or arrange for the performances
of many other traditional and ethnic folk music groups of Northern California and the U.S. West Coast.
